La Cerdanya is an ideal destination for skiing, as it is very well connected unlike other ski areas in the Pyrenees, and also offers a wide range of accommodation, gastronomy and plans to complete the weekend.

If you have to rent ski equipment, our recommendation is to rent it in Puigcerdà the day before. It will be easier to park and there will be less people. To rent ski equipment you can go to: Tubosa Sports, Pertot or Iris Sports.

Below, we offer you a compilation of the most important ski resorts, with useful information to plan your day in the snow.

La Molina
La Molina with 63km skiable, just 20 min from Puigcerdà, has a long slope beginners area, ideal for beginners and families with children who want to go to the snow.

It also has black runs for expert skiers and a gondola lift that goes up to 2500m high, which reaches the Niu de l’Àliga refuge.

In this refuge they make meals, connects with the station of La Masella and on clear days you can see the mountain of Montserrat.

For families who do not ski, there is also the option to enjoy the Niu de l’Àliga refuge going up and down with the gondola lift, one of the most beautiful plans in Cerdanya in winter.

La Masella
La Masella is another of the main resorts of the Cerdanya, has 65km, just 20min from Puigcerdà, has north orientation, so the quality of snow is usually somewhat better than the Molina.
It also has an area for beginners and connects with the Niu de l’Àliga refuge with chairlift.

Font Romeu
Font Romeu is a resort located in the French Cerdanya with 55 km skiable and 30 minutes from Puigcerdà.

It is another excellent choice for a day of skiing, a family resort, very sunny and with many slopes ideal for beginners.

Les Angles
Les Angles is a resort located in the French Cerdanya, after the resort of Font Romeu, located 45min drive from Puigcerdà.

It offers 55 km of slopes and also has slopes for both beginners and more experienced skiers.

Porte Puymorens
Porte Puymorens is a small ski resort of 28km skiable, located in the French region of Cerdanya and next to the border with Andorra. It is located 25 minutes from Puigcerdá.

It usually has very good snow conditions, thanks to its location and plenty of natural snow.

Due to its reduced size, its ski pass is also smaller, and it is an excellent option for skiers looking to ski in a small and quiet resort.

Grand Valira – Pas de la Casa
Grand Valira, with 210 km of skiable slopes, is one of the largest ski resorts in Andorra and Europe. Pas de la Casa is the gateway to the ski area, just 45 minutes from Puigcerdà.

It is an excellent option for those skiers who wish to ski without limits.
